If there’s one thing that saddens me, it’s that I don’t often have the opportunity to document birth stories for families. Because of that, Fresh 48 sessions are the next best thing! I still get to be one of the very first people to meet and snuggle all of these little miracles! If you’ve never heard of a Fresh 48 session before, A fresh 48 session is a special session documenting the precious moments in the first 48 hours of your newborn’s life. I come to the hospital within 48 hours of your baby’s birth to document those priceless moments before your baby comes home. These are not traditional newborn sessions (no poses, lights, or props) and allow me to capture your family’s newness in a natural way.
This is Brooklyn! Her Fresh 48 session was shot at a hospital in New London, CT. About 3 weeks before she arrived, I did her mommy’s maternity session at The Branford House at Avery Point in Groton, CT and then just one short week after she was born she spent some time with me in the studio for her newborn session.
